Kids Day

Kids Day 2009 was a success raising $424,000 for Children’s Hospital Central California.

Thousands of volunteers from Merced to Tulare Counties sold a special Kids Day edition of The Fresno Bee to support Children’s Hospital Central California.

There were several ways to get in on the fundraising excitement. There were friendly competitions among businesses and face offs between rival schools.

Kids Day is joint project between The Fresno Bee, ABC 30 and Children’s Hospital.

Since its beginning in 1988, the Kids Day campaign has raised more than $3.65 million for Children’s Hospital.
