James Meinert, Ph.D.

Vice President of Foundation

James Meinert serves as Vice President, Foundation at Children’s Hospital Central California. Jim leads the fundraising efforts including major gifts, planned giving, special events and the Foundation’s Board of Directors at Children’s Hospital.

He served at several colleges and universities including the State Center Community College District, where he began his professional fund raising career as the first Executive Director of State Center’s Foundation & Grants program.  For the past seven years, Jim has served as Vice President, Foundation & Development at Saint Agnes Medical Center.

He is active in many Valley organizations, including the East Fresno Rotary Club and the Fresno Estate Planning Council. His professional affiliations include the Association of Fundraising Professionals, National Planned Giving Council, and the National Association of Healthcare Philanthropy. Jim holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Oregon.
