Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. G. Sharat Kumar joined Children’s Hospital as a pediatric hospitalist in February 2010. He brings more than a decade of pediatric experience to the Hospital. Prior to joining Children’s, Dr. Kumar practiced in Connecticut and Pennsylvania.

Dr. Kumar received his medical degree from Government Medical College in Mysore, India. Dr. Kumar received additional education and training in the United Kingdom. He completed his pediatric residency at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pa.
