Board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Linné Curtis joined Children’s Hospital Central California as a hospitalist in September 2000. Her areas of expertise include inpatient medicine. She is Co-Medical Director of Acute Care and Respiratory Units at Children’s. Dr. Curtis also assists in developing new medical pathways and reviewing all other medical pathways annually, and makes revisions as needed.

Dr. Curtis’ teaching activities include training residents in Inpatient Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital. She has also taught clinical skills in pediatric cardiology to students in the UCSF Medical Education Program.

Dr. Curtis received her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in Galveston, Texas. She completed a pediatric internship and residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Curtis is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Curtis was a registered nurse and primarily worked as a pediatric critical care and oncology nurse.

She is a marathon runner and recently completed the Boston Marathon. Dr. Curtis spends her free time with her husband and their four children.
