Dr. Mydili Subramaniam joined Children’s Hospital as a pediatric emergency physician in May 2010 and is board eligible in pediatric emergency medicine and board certified in pediatrics by the
American Board of Pediatrics. Prior to joining Children’s, Dr. Subramaniam was an attending physician in the department of pediatric emergency medicine at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, Mich.
Dr. Subramaniam has presented at national and regional conferences on topics including awareness and utilization of emergency medical services by limited English proficient patient families in the emergency department, and thermometer-induced acrodynia. She also participated in an international medicine joint project involving lead poisoning research.
Dr. Subramaniam received her medical degree from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute in Chennai Tamil Nadu, India. She completed pediatric residencies at Henry Ford Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, Mich. Dr. Subramaniam completed a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
