Board certified in pediatrics and board eligible in pediatric infectious disease by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Paulina Mariki joined Children’s Hospital Central California in August 2012 as a pediatric infectious disease specialist.
Dr. Mariki has presented nationally on topics in her field, including ventilator associated pneumonia, congenital toxoplasmosis and disseminated mycobacterium.
Dr. Mariki is a member of several professional organizations, including the Infectious Disease Society of America and Pediatric Infectious Disease Society. She is also a member of Specialty Medical Group.
Dr. Mariki earned her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Penn. She did her family practice internship at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, Va. She did her pediatric internship and residency at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz. Dr. Mariki completed her pediatric infectious disease fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center/Food Drug and Administration in Washington, D.C.
