A board certified anesthesiologist, Dr. Sivasai Voora has been with Children’s since 1992. He joined Children’s medical staff from Deaconess Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Voora’s academic service includes Clinical Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of California, San Francisco-Fresno.

Dr. Voora’s professional activities include presentations on topics such as neuromuscular blocking drugs and anesthetic considerations for Scoliosis surgery. He is also a member of several professional societies including the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Critical Care Anesthesiologists and the American Medical Association Society for Pediatric Anesthesia.

A graduate from Andhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam, India, Dr. Voora completed an internship in the Department of surgery at Lincoln Medical Center, Bronx, New York, and a residency in the Department of Anesthesiology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He completed his fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesia and Pain management at the University of Cincinnati, in Ohio.

Dr. Voora lives in Fresno with his wife and family.
