Board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Tara Lemoine joined the pediatric intensive care unit at Children’s Hospital Central California in November 2012.
Dr. Lemoine comes to us from Memorial Health University Medical Center where she served as an attending physician in an academic level I trauma center from 2011 to 2012 in Savannah, Ga. She was also a faculty member at the Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah with clinical teaching responsibilities for pediatric residents and medical students. Previously, she worked as a pediatrician at Intermountain Medical Group – KidsCare After-Hours Pediatric Urgent Care, in Salt Lake City, Utah, from 2008 to 2011.
Dr. Lemoine has presented on various topics in her field. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Medical Association, and American College of Chest Physicians.
Dr. Lemoine received her medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. She completed her internship and residency in pediatrics, as well as her fellowship in pediatric critical care, at the University of Utah, Primary Children’s Medical Center, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
