Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. William Hastrup has been a diagnostic radiologist since 1986. He has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Radiographics and the Journal of Ultrasound Medicine.
A graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine, Dr. Hastrup completed an internship at the University of Oregon in Portland. While working towards his postgraduate training, Dr. Hastrup received Aerospace Medicine Training (Flight Surgery) in the U.S. Navy and completed a tour of duty with the First Marine Aircraft Wing. Following his military service, Dr. Hastrup completed his residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in MRI, CT and Ultrasound Imaging at the University of Washington in Seattle.
