9/21/2010

Kohl’s Department Stores donated $83,560 to support the Kohl's presents check to Children'sKohl’s Water Safety Program at Children’s Hospital Central California.

The gift, made possible by the Kohl’s Cares ® program, will help fund the Hospital’s work to help prevent drowning tragedies.  The check presentation was held during a Year-Round Water Safety event at Children’s Hospital.  The event was designed to educate parents and children on drowning dangers that arise in the winter.  Pre-school children learned that buckets, toilets, bathtubs and backyard fishponds can all be dangerous.
